But normally it is the guy making the advances.
The characters were very likable and they were well developed throughout th I’m czrrie this book 3. She didn’t try to make that romantic. I haven’t read a romance in a long time, and I enjoyed the setting and, well, the sex. I understand the urge to not info-drop, but hell’s bells, lady.
Meg needed a warm male body to quench her desires and Will had no other choice but to go along with it. I have loved Robin Hood books from a variety of authors ranging from Parke Godwin to Marsha Canham, and I am so happy to see a book that sits well alongside them. This is essentially a forced seduction scene and there was not emotional attachment between the two. From the moment that he encounters her however, he never actually does take the easy road and act in his own self-interest.
I think Will Scarlet would have turned over in his grave, if he’d had one. This was a really great medieval historical romance. And the setting, the forests, are very vivid.

I have been on the fence as to what grade to give What a Scoundrel Wants. So he’s all wounded and feverous. More than I bargained for Although the title has absolutely nothing to do with the story, I thoroughly enjoyed this ,ofty. And if she wants something she goes after it. It was sick and wrong and in NO way was it sexy!
I really dug this book. But he’s on the right track and he does get there eventually, once he’s able to face Robin again and they can finally resolve past differences and misunderstandings. He stole every scene he was in.
My main peeve with What a Scoundrel Wants was the character of Meg. Particularly Meg, who is vulnerable due to her lack of sight, and shunned for her differences. Jan 24, Karla rated it did not like it Farrie
